Rick,
Thanks for the Bomber tires that you donated to Rick Tillman today. I am sure that he told
you what they were being used for.
To be able to get that car on the trailer for it to be at Ukiah Speedway for the memorial
on Saturday is bigger than words can say.
I am not sure if you ever had the chance to meet Steve "Tiny" Kruger or not.
Tiny (as he was known in the racing family) was a
street stock racer from Ukiah and Lakeport Speedways in the late 80's to mid 90's. He was
truely one of the good guys in this sport
and in this world. He was one my best friends on and off the track. He was
tragically taken from us last Sunday Aug 14th at the age
of 47 and left behind his wife and 4 children, his mother, sister, brother in law, and
nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends.
I know what you did most would say was not much, but it really was and I think people
should know that there are still good people
in the world like your self. Thanks again Rick from the bottom of my heart and the hearts
of all of Tiny's family and friends for helping
out another racing family in need.

Hi Rick,
Just wanted to thank you for all the hard work putting on the 3rd. Annual California
Vintage Nationals. I appreciated the statement that you made “If there are only
6 people in the stands we would still give them the best show that we can”. Most
promoters don’t care that much about the fans. But, really that’s how you get a
fan base. In a way, it’s almost like going to a restaurant and not enjoying your
meal. You won’t go back. Thanks for all the fine words about the Kurtis Midget.
This whole weekend gave my dad a lot of enjoyment. It really recharged his batteries up.
He is 88-years old. We will try our best to make the Pop Porter Memorial this year.

Hi Rick,
I want to thank you and your staff for willing to be so accommodating for people with
disabilities. For the record, Shasta Raceway Park has been the best track I've been at so
far.
I hope to see you next year and tell your staff to keep up the good work.

Rick,
I and my fellow members of West Coast Vintage Racing, SouthWest
Chapter would like to Thank You and all of your Great Staff for the Wonderful Weekend of
vintage racing this past weekend.
And a special Thank You to you Rick, for the help with the race car
repairs. Without your help Mike Schrum and Donovan Stark would have not been able to race
on Saturday.
It’s a long way to travel, but we hope to make it an annual
event for us as well as our club.
See you next year.

Just want to say thanks for a great 3 days of fun. Rick the event was well done from the
comments I`ve had from many competitors. Rick I hope you are as pleased with the events

Howdy!!
Just a quick note to congratulate you and yours and ALL involved on a FANTASTIC event.
My cancer only let me run 1 day,The #77 ran great but the driver ran out of gas. I
attended all days for a few hours.The event ran so smooth and all the staff was
fantastic,courteous,and knowledgeable. Wish I could have run the hardtop more but I guess
I am not as strong as I think I am. HOPEFULLY I am a whole lot better next year.
AGAIN I say JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!
